Picked up at a flea market
Picked up at a flea market
I bought a canning jar full of old small toys. I got two of the old frogmen baking soda frogmen from Kellogs, and what I think is a bubble gum toilet. But the cloths pin matches one in my CJ book and the whistle is marked CJ so its good to go. Any thoughts on the cloths pin? I will also post a picture of the other 20 toys. I don't think any are CJ but who knows.

Hi Ed, wish I could help you with your clothes pin but afraid I just don't know. Hopefully Cyndy will see your post and help you identify it.
I loved seeing your photos. You have some nice trinkets there.
Enjoy

Your little clothespin is a keeper! It does look identical to 2 different archive pictures I have. So the rest of us know what to look for would you post the length? Thanks!
Re: Picked up at a flea market
Here is a link to the pin photo. Its about 2 1/4 over all. I was going to put it in with the rest of the items I bought for sale on my Etsy account but while looking up the whistle in my CJ book I saw the pin and it looked exactly like the one in the lot I had bought. The lot was a Kerr Jar full of old small toys. It was at a flea market for 7 bucks and I bought it for the two Kellogg's Frog men from the 50s cereal premium and the CJ whistle. https://ibb.co/4YxrzWg

This is the jar of toys I bought for 7 dollars. I have removed the CJ and Kellogg's items I am keeping. I was wondering if anyone sees anything I should keep that I don't know about?

I would buy or trade for the red shovel and yellow broom. They aren't Cracker Jack, but I have a friend who makes "fairy gardens" and they would work for that. Let me know how much you would want for them or maybe we can work a trade. Let me know.

I don't want money but would do a trade. I collect Buddha's Mummy's. CJ buildings, snap togeather animals ect. There are two brooms and one shovel. One broom has real broom bristles on it. Send me an email on what you think is fair to dogon2u@gmail.com

I don't want both brooms, just the all plastic red shovel and yellow broom. Attached, please find what I have to trade; the Buddha is kind of cool as he is variegated. Let me know if this works for you and if so, send me an email with your address. I am in the CJCA Directory. Cyndy Boesch

Hi again--Sorry I wasn't clear. I am offering all six pieces in my photo as a trade for your two. Let me know--I have someone else interested in the Buddha. Thanks.
