This is the first of many old Cracker Jack photographs that I will be uploading in this area of the forum. I have many here so this will most likely go on for years. All of them will need to be scanned, some need to be edited, and some will require some restoration. I will give whatever information that is known about each photo.
This is a 1917 photograph of a candy jobber's delivery truck. The original measures 9-3/4" x 8" and it is mounted on a larger gray mat board. It pictures the truck and a man beside it. Note that there is a chain drive on the rear wheel. The truck has a large 5 cent Cracker Jack box on the side and painted wording that is difficult to see in the smaller picture above. It reads as follows:
