Happy Memorial Day! How about a Parade?

Post by painter »

Hi everyone!
Here's my Memorial day parade, ala Cracker Jack. Yup, it's a silly one, but not meant to be disrespectful.
Hope you enjoy ithttp://www.crackerjackcollectors.com/forum/pos ... =post&f=15#

Donna, Absolutely fantastic! :)clap
I'll have to check my collection to see if there's something I can add to your parade.

Thanks Alex and Luke!
Luke, please do add to it--as you can see, there's no Army presence at all--couldn't find any soldier figures.
I do have a mule, but that's kinda obscure

I would love to see this in a parade, perhaps in a few more centuries.

Hi Donna! Thank you for creating a great Memorial Day Parade. You have really put me in the holiday mood. Alex, Luke and Gail, I love your additions to Donna's parade. Thanks to everyone. :humbsip: A patriotic parade can never have too many flags. So, I am adding three tin litho, stand-up flags from the 1940's, which was certainly a good decade in which to be honoring our military. By the way, if anyone has the fourth flag in this series of four, which has the wording, "Long May it Wave," please let me know if it is for sale. I would sure like to complete this set.

I can almost smell the all American hot dog cooking on the grill after the parade. Yum :!: I like my hot dogs burnt. :flamed: How do you like yours? :???:

Thanks for your words of encouragement, Donna. That would be a great Flag Day accomplishment if I could find that fourth stand-up flag. I have diligently been searching for that particular flag for several years.

Bye for now. :hiya:
